From time to time Yuva Shaktis of  Russia arrange Music Programs and give Self-Realization to the students of schools and colleges. Students accept Sahaja Yoga very well and are thankful for the concerts and the joy they have received. Some of them get interested in Sahaja Yoga, take visit-cards and leaflets. After several programs in schools, Sahaja Yogis of saint-Petersburg, Russia, opened special Sahaja Yoga classes for young people which are conducted by Yuva Shaktis. The Administration of the educational establishments is very grateful to them and invites them again.

A unique experience of spreading Sahaja Yoga appeared in the State University of one of Russian cities where a special course “Music and Self -Knowledge” has existed for several years already. Music is known to be the shortest way to God. In all the times great composers and musicians worshipped God in their works. This is the main topic of the whole course. The students get acquainted with the creations of the deepest composers: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. – in living performance of M.A. Ohotina (piano). The diaries, letters and memories of the musicians are actively used at these classes. Thus a living and interesting communication takes place among the listeners. However, a meditative, concentrated state is needed for the deeper understanding of classical spiritual music. Then this divine music penetrates inside the hearts of people. This state is well developed through Indian classic music which is totally devoted to God. Students learn more about some ragas. Sahaja musical groups are invited for that. Bhajans and qawwalis are also performed. The students take active part in the performance: clap their hands, sing and dance. The hearts get filled with joy and love. All the present people get their Self-Realization. They are told about Sahaja Yoga and given SY visit-cards. Thus, many students get their Self-Realisation and some of them come to Sahaja Yoga!
