Since 2005, several Sahaja Seminars as well as the International Sahaja Yoga Festival of Diwali are held in Togliatti and its neighborhoods every year. Sahaja Yoga International Festival is the largest event which is annually visited by several thousand Sahaja Yogis from all over Russia and other countries of CIS such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Moldova, Estonia and Lithuania.
In 2008, the International Festival gathered more than 6 000 people from Russia and the countries of CIS. Among the present Yogis there also were more than 100 Sahaja Yogis from foreign countries such as Italy, the USA, India, China, Mongolia, Brazil, Great Britain, Spain, etc.
The traditional schedule of the Festival includes a Music Program (evening music and dancing programs), Havan, Puja and everyday collective cleaning techniques.
In 2008, Russian Sahaja Yogis were blessed by Shri Mataji to hold Sahaja Yoga Marriage Ceremonies at the Festival. About 100 Sahaja couples from Russia, CIS and foreign countries went through Marriage and Remarriage Protocol.
In 2008, within 2-3 months, by the blessings of Shri Mataji, Russian Sahaja Yogis built a Sahaja Yoga camp for holding the annual International Festivals. The camp can accommodate about 15 000 people. It is situated in a picturesque place on the bank of the Volga River. The camp is equipped with all the facilities which can provide long and comfortable staying of Sahaja Yogis in it.
