Regularly, the Russian Mass Media publish positive articles and show TV-programs about Sahaja Yoga, its useful influence on spiritual and moral development and physical health of the person, and Self-Realisation programs.

Spreading Sahaja Yoga on Russian BBC

In June, 2006 Dmitry Korotaev, the Coordinator of the Russian Council for Sahaja Yoga Advancement, was invited by radio BBC (Russian Department) in London, England, to take part in a broadcast devoted to Sahaja Yoga. Russian BBC broadcasts for all Russian-speaking people all over the world. The audience of radio BBC (in Russian) is 180 000 000 people.

The program was conducted by the well-known anchorman Seva Novgorodtsev. Dmitry Korotaev was talking about Sahaja Yoga, answering questions about various aspects of Sahaja Yoga and he also gave Self-Realization on air to the anchorman and his wife.

Publications in the Russian Magazine “Science and Religion”

The magazine “Science and Religion” is one of the most known Russian printings with a semicentennial history. The magazine is distributed all over the country. It has been published since September, 1959 and in the Soviet times it was published “as atheistic – for the propaganda of scientific knowledge which does not require any ‘hypothesis of God’ ”. Gradually, over the years and as a result of the political change in Russia, the magazine started publishing more and more articles proving the existence of God and also the articles which positively told about various religions, doctrines, religious concepts, etc.

From 2004 to 2007, in some issues of the magazine there was published a series of articles where it was told about Sahaja Yoga and its concept, about Shri Mataji and Her great influence on spiritual and moral development and physical health of a person.
